This has been an incredibly exciting week for DARFI.

We have launched our first two national database studies and are looking for NHS Trusts to partner with, to better understand atypical and rare fractures and injuries.

The first study is FACT-1 study which aims to establish a multi-centre, retrospective review of talus fractures treated within the past 10 years using a national collaborative (FACT). The second study is the UK-DRUID study which aims to identify the UK incidence of DRUJ dislocation and its subtypes. Secondary outcome is to gain insight into the current practice of initial DRUJ management.

If your hospital is interested in being a part of either of these national studies or any in the future then please complete an expression of interest form and a member of the R&I team will be in touch.

If you would like to propose and lead on a national database study that falls within the field of atypical or rare fractures and injuries then please consider submitting a study proposal for our committee to review.
