About DARFI
DARFI, which stands for Database for Atypical and Rare Fractures and Injuries, is a national collaborative platform dedicated to the study of rare and atypical fractures and injuries. This innovative initiative is the brainchild of Professor Lyndon Mason and Mr Abdul-Rahman Gomaa.
DARFI is meticulously designed to facilitate the investigation and understanding of rare and atypical fractures and injuries. This retrospective NHS REC approved (IRAS ID: 331288) database study is sponsored by Liverpool University Hospitals Foundation Trust (R&I ID: LHS0208). DARFI is an approved and registered HRA database study.
